Description: ANNOUNCING GEORGIA THEATRE COMPANY’S FIFTH ANNUAL “FILM AND FOOD FOR A CAUSE EVENT ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2008 The fifth annual “Film & Food for a Cause event which will span eight counties, eleven of their movie theatre locations, and at least 30 local restaurants with all proceeds from ticket and concession sales on the event date, Sunday, September 21, going directly to local charities within their communities. Last year, a in excess of $7,600 was raised at Liberty Cinemas. All proceeds will benefit United Way of the Coastal Empire, Liberty and Prevent Child Abuse, Liberty. For a ten dollar donation, each customer receives admission to the film of their choice, a special popcorn and soft-drink combo from the concession stand, and a packet of valuable coupons from participating restaurants.
