Mother's Work: Textiles from Public and Private Collections

||Drawing from public and private collections of handmade domestic textiles, this exhibition will feature embroidery, cut-work, tatting, and crochet. Exploring the lost arts of busy hands in a pre-industrialized domestic world, the exhibition will have samples of lacework and other textiles used predominantly in the home. It is an exhibition that celebrates the creativity and passion of mothers as the invest in their children's future, hopefully, ensuring domestic harmony and tranquility through beauty in their homes.
