Description: The Statesboro Youth Ballet is excited to announce professional dancers Stacey Slichter and Norbert Nirewicz will direct the 2012 community production of The Nutcracker Ballet. Slichter and Nirewicz will introduce a completely new vision of this community tradition! At the annual Christmas Eve party at the Silberhaus’s house, the young daughter, Clara, receives a beautiful Nutcracker. After the party, Clara experiences an elaborate dream where she battles the Rat King, journeys into a land of sweets, meets a handsome prince and is entertained by a Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. There’s no better way to kick off the holiday season!
