LeConte Gardens Workday


The Liberty County Master Gardeners have organized a workday at LeConte-Woodmanston Rice Plantation and Botanical Gardens near Riceboro, on Tuesday, October 30th from 8:00-5:00. The DNR & Fort Morris


I was saddened as I read J. Currier's story ("Possible Slippery Slope for Fort Morris") in Sunday's paper. Funding for GA's state parks and historical sites cut by 25%. Staffing and hours being cut at our own Fort Morris. I think Dave Swinford's prediction could be painfully right on target.
