Happy Thanksgiving


Well we have an absolutely beautiful near full moon and another record high tide. Seems like this year has passed in little more than a snap.

We have much to be grateful for as this has been a year of plenty of rain and trees have flourished as well as our crops.

My mother and her friends are enjoying life and retirement. Her favorite hobby is line dancing. I miss my mother. I can't wait to see her line dance in person.

Kenny Smiley was a special person.


The Smiley family of Walthourville and the Clark family of Hinesville held a funeral service for R. Kenneth Smiley yesterday At the Hinesville Methodist Church.

The visitation Thursday evening and the service and burial were all joyful events and both were attended by very large numbers of people.
