It's nice to read about a young person involved in something positive. I also enjoy what nature has offered us, it's unfortunate where I live (Lake George Subdivision) most people are destructive and disrespectful to the environment. The abundance of wildlife has left due to the everyday noise of thumping car audios, constant fireworks day and night, guns being discharged almost daily, people yelling because of a fight or loud party, some of the fire volunteers blasting sirens unnecessarily within the subdivision, big tire trucks flying down the community roads running over whatever is in their path. Can you imagine the noise with a constant of two or three, four, five, six, seven of these things going on at once in many different households in a community of over 1500 people. So as you can tell you are rare, at least in comparison to what I have seen here. I use to see wild herrings, fox tail squirrel, owls, deer, large endangered redheaded woodpeckers, bald eagles, an abundance of the more common species, not so much of anything anymore, it's sad when people prefer drugs and dogfighting over having the opportunity to appreciate their natural environment. I wish you well and I enjoy your photos. Do you ever take pics of the more unusual like early morning fog rising from a lake, or rain coming down on one side of a road while the sun shines on the other, etc.,?
Thank you :) The suggestions of alternate kinds of scenic photography has me eager to capture it. :) Glad you like nature as well, that's great! :)On another note, I am sorry to hear of the individuals who participate in your communities destruction. Sounds like their minds have some blockage prohibiting them to respect the environment. They should relax for a bit, take a deep breath, and enjoy nature while pushing towards quiet serenity.
Christina, I love every photo you have posted and anxiously await the photographic memoirs of your next outing. Have you thought about exhibiting your collection? I feel the community would be very receptive.
