Good news from Development Authority

Take Me To Post Comment Form

We read in the Courier that an Authority official has said, "Our intent is to have the road open again . . . ." in reference to the historic Old Sunbury Rd. That's great news!
It will take a lot of work to remove Target so the landmark road can be restored, but it's the right thing to do. There is probably an appropriate location for Target and similar facilities that can accomodate heavy traffic, high capacity power lines (possibly using eminent domain) and all the rest of what comes with that kind of development. But historic, scenic, eco-tourism friendly East Liberty is not that place.
Liberty County couldn't even manage the signage a place like Target requires!
