I do not think them having the same standards as any day surgery clinic is attempting to backdoor legislation. When it comes to women's health issues we usually get the short end of the stick. IMO, this is not an issue of Roe vs Wade but adequate and safe medical care for all women, not just the park avenue set. This man preyed on the poor and ignorant.

The killing of Dr Tiller was the act of an assassin. A mentally sick person (IMHO anyone who plots and executes a murder has to be mentally ill. Rational people do not, seriously, plot the death of another.) One can not be pro life and go around taking other people's lives, especially w/o due process. I though Roe vs Wade was suppose to stop these backroom abortions where a woman's life means little once payment has been made. I don't think it matters if the clinic is in PA, GA, AL, NY, CA or OR, a woman, rich or poor, should have confidence she is getting the best care possible or at least meet some minimal standards of care. There is some sort of oversight to catch butchers like him before someone is permanently maimed or killed. I don't think your advocating "Buyer Beware" when it come to medical care but I am at a loss as to what your exact stance is.
