Why does no one talk about corruption locally?

why are no reporters talking about ESG, their multi-million dollar contract, the problems they have caused homeowners here in Hinesville, me included?

What about Blatant Violations of the Open Records Act by city officials, no one talks about it or does anything to remedy the situation, why?

Hundreds of Thousands of dollars wasted on IT department that can't protect against a simple malware issue!

Its something we all can see, pay for, but no one talks about it, why?

HinesVegas baby!

Ms Leon, has a file on my issues at my house, yet doesn't write about my plight with the city destroying my property, and refusing to remedy the issue, why?

I have given everything the Coastal Courier needs to write about how city officials blatantly violate Open Records Request, but the Coastal Courier reports nothing on these criminal acts of City officials.

The City of Hinesville employees know my address, and my moniker here, they follow my posts, why?

Police Lieutenants read my blogs here, why?

I post nothing violent, criminal, I merely exercise my right to freedom of speech! I question abusive, illegal, use of powers by government officials. But I am obeying the laws, so why do they follow my posts, waste time, and not go after white collar criminals in the City government?

Why? I tell the truth, maybe some people don't want you to see the truth, but Do you want the truth?

We need to question every purchase the city makes, they are public servants using your dollars. Question abuse of powers, especially when it hurts others.

You pay them to do their job, they must obey the laws!

They are not following the very laws they are sworn to uphold.

Today Ms Leon wrote the city had malware causing their outage, something a simple Anti-Virus software when properly installed and updated protects against. Yet the cities IT department couldn't prevent it?

They paid an external company thousands of dollars to do a penetration test on their network, yet they found no issues with their anti-virus system?

What kind of pen test is that?

Are you kidding me? Who is in charge of the IT department, the backwards, bucktooth, barefoot, illiterate cousin of some city official?

Meanwhile someone harasses me, by adding my email to every mortgage refinance list, or website they can find, along with my phone number.

Spam emails and phone calls have gone from me never getting one, to now getting phone calls every few minutes by sales people, or mortgage refinance people, and my emails have gone from 4 or 5 a day to 20 or 30 per day all in spam.

My house is mysteriously added to a list for police to watch, saying no one lives there confronting my tenants, who are scared to death. Then representatives of the department says it was just a clerical error, or accident.

So who represent me in the harassment we are being dealt at the hands of government workers?

No one, my family, and I are left at the mercy of tyrants, who propound every dirty trick they can think of to harass me and my family.

I pray this doesn't happen to you, but sooner or later, it will.

Time on Target wanted this blog site to be just what you are talking about! What do we get from TOT? Copy & paste! We now have the OriginalJimmySmith fussing about copy & paste and what does he do on his next blog? Copy & paste! I think since both live in Liberty county they should step up to the plate and try to help you solve your problem, after all, it could happen to them next!

We here at timeontarget appreciate the comments in this blog.

These people who post blanket condemnations without specific charges might be a beginning but ichman need to be far more specific with his complaints.

SEMPER FI Icyman61....

A lot of what you state is true and for the most part those elected officials who won't do the job we voted them in for simply need to be voted out of office.

Regarding writing letters to the editor or on a blog like this here which is an advantage to any citizen that wants to make use of it one should not spew things in writing without first investigating for themselves what is happening, gather evidence and take it to appropriate agencies to deal with it legally and if that fails then go public with it.

Sometimes things cannot get fixed as quickly as we want it to but when we come to a news outlet with evidence we have uncovered because the politicians or others in the community who think they are all that and have money to quiet us we must go in another direction and even out of the city we live in, or county to find someone who will legally take on the challenge and why it is so important to have evidence of what we are talking about.

Not that long ago, as a matter of fact, just last year I had an issue going on in our community that directly affected me and my family by a person who thought they were above the law and could control some of us in this city. I went through all the proper channels to get the issue resolved but the attitude of the local government was to "stand down" when I tried to get law enforcement to do something. At first city government would do nothing. I even paid a solicitor a fee to be an agent to speak on my behalf and with the help of one city council person they were not able to get anywhere with it.

So I took it upon myself to investigate what I could do or get done to resolve an issue that was so simple to resolve by the city and went back to the city elected officials and gave them what I had uncovered in my investigation and to handle it or I was going public with it. They complied and easily resolved the problem.

We need to as citizens of this city step up and find a way to work with city government to get things done legally and properly and if it means investigating the agitator and finding something on them than so be it. They either line up and do the job we hired them to do by our vote or get voted out next go round and if needed get them out sooner but in order to do that we must have some evidence of there having done wrong. Once you have that evidence you can pretty much get things done for the protection of all citizens of this city and county.

If you want to start talking about things regarding our city than join us on Facebook groups Citizens Of Hinesville Coalition which is a fairly new group .

We are citizens befriending each other, creating a bond so when one needs help or guidance, we can help each other out by helping directly or referring the person to proper resources available to them.

Our desire is working together with our government to improve our quality of life in this city.

I took it to the Attorney General, and they are still non complying with the open records request. They come up with excuses constantly and the excuses irrelevant to the issue of compliance.

I want to help others but when all logical legal means of dealing with the issue is blocked, I felt I had no other choice.

As for the other issues concerning harassment, its covert, So I don't know how to deal with it.

I am trying harder now than ever to step up, toe the line, follow all the rules, but I am frustrated at what I see happening!

Semper Fi!

Hinesville has apparently become a very difficult municipality to deal with.

icyman61 I am hesitant to offer any advice. I gave LCarol my personal opinion that representation may help her resolve her situation. I regret that it didn't. I do know that very specific and timely notes as well as pictures and witnesses always help. Complaints must also be timely and well detailed. I think that TOT was correct regarding specificity. I know the personal feeling of being "out of luck" as they say. Hopefully you are not at that point.

Wood17 thank you for responding, no I have faith in GOD, no matter what plans others make God is in control and his plan is perfect.

LCarol, I forgot to ask ,what part of what I am saying is untrue?

You said alot of what I said is true, I want to always tell the truth, so tell me what part was incorrect?

so i can fix it.

LCarol commented on Wednesday, Mar 21, 2018 at 23:11 PM

I did not say that any part of what you were saying is untrue. What I mean by "a lot of what you say is true" is that I can relate with some of what you state and not that there is any untruth on your part.
