Holding District City Council Accountable

It looks like some of us putting pressure on our city council persons to start having district town hall meetings at least every 3 months (quarter) is starting to pay off.

To my knowledge only one sitting council person was doing it and that is from district 1. Kudo's to that person for doing so and opening it to the public even if you did not live in that district. I went to it a couple weeks ago and although that is not my district it was quite informative. I keep pushing to have the other 4 district council persons to follow suit.

It appears it is starting to work for I was informed a couple hours ago that one is set on October 21 for district 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. I encourage ALL HINESVILLE CITIZENS to go to it even if that is not your district. It is for anyone that wants to attend living in Hinesville.

If you don't get involved as a citizen then you can't complain about anything. Think on that a bit.
