Completeness The words “God said,” are recorded ten times in his creation of man. This indicates the finality of his actions regarding mankind. There are also ten generations of people in the bible beginning with Adam’s family and ending with Noah’s. Noah’s generation was the final generation before mankind was destroyed by the great flood.

The ten fingers and toes which we have are necessary for the work that we have to accomplish in this world. They are sufficient in our role of having dominion over the earth. They speak of the righteousness of God which brings dominion if we allow it to guide us through life.

Responsibility Jesus uses the number ten in three of the parables which he presented in the gospel. Each parable speaks of people who have a responsibility for God. The ten virgins (MT 25:1-13) are responsible for preparing themselves for the coming of the bridegroom.

In Luke 15:8-10 the woman possess 10 coins. She refuses to give up on finding the lost coin which she eventually does find it and adds it back to the others.

In Luke 19:11-27 servants are left with talents which they are responsible for keeping. Since God is a God of multiplication they are expected to invest their talents and increase their wealth.

Authority Jesus uses the words “I am,” ten times in the book of John to denote his divine power and authority over the universe.

Perfection In Job 1: 1-3 Job had three different types of possessions in multiples of ten.

1 There was a man in the land of UZ, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 2 And there were born to him seven sons and three daughters. 3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses;

The Promise In Genesis 21:5, Abram was 100 years old (10x10) when Isaac, (the son of promise) was born. Here we see the perfect promise. I believe that 10x10 speaks of the divine immutability of God’s promise to him. God (who is perfection) swore by himself when he made the promise. Thus he reaches the number of divine perfection (100).

Sir, I mean no disrespect but, you are becoming a blog hog.

cedricrice commented on Monday, Oct 02, 2017 at 14:47 PM

none taken...you are entitled to your opinion...but I haven't posted in quite a while...so I mean no disrespect when I say that your opinion doesn't matter...in this case because it is BS....

timeontarget commented on Monday, Oct 02, 2017 at 15:03 PM

Brother Rice please disregard any negative comments regarding your blog posts.

I for one enjoy your lessons of the Bible. The world needs more of it. Thank you sir.

Sheran commented on Monday, Oct 02, 2017 at 16:43 PM

I enjoyed reading them also, not no more! My opinion matters just like every other blogger's with a new blog that you buried.

timeontarget commented on Tuesday, Oct 03, 2017 at 12:48 PM

Sheran I do not think that Brother Rice intends to hog the blog site with his multiple blogs.

I believe he is simply attempting to post subject matter which in every case is rather lengthy.

Our comments are limited in size to three thousand words I think.

Brother Rice is bringing to us some good information.

Our Coastal Courier blog site has only a handful of participants currently.

We probably should not discourage any who try to contribute so long as they refrain from personal attacks and insult.

Sheran please know that I mean you no ill will.

I mean no il, will either, however we are all human and subject to make a mistake once in a while but it's a fact that Brother Rice was a blog hog back in August when PN posted a tribute in honor of Jimmy Darsey's death He posted 5 blogs and wiped it off the front page completely. PN posted it on a Sunday night around 6:30p and Brother Rice cleared the board of the blog within 8 hours and the next morning and hardly anyone had a chance to see it without manipulating the pages. Now that's not a FACT and not BS.

TOT , Im quite sure Brother Rice can speak for himself and I als wish for him to continue because it is his right, however I'd like for him to be courteous and aware about our feelings, opinions and facts too!

Sheran commented on Tuesday, Oct 03, 2017 at 13:29 PM

Thank you Funkentelecky & timeontarget I was not trying to be ugly but had TOT not copy & Pasted PN's blog about Jimmy I wouldn't have known he passed.

timeontarget commented on Tuesday, Oct 03, 2017 at 13:35 PM

Hey gang lets all work together to get through this issue.

Brother Rice rather than posting three or four separate blogs in consecutive order consider posting them all in one single blog.

Perhaps we should all consider only posting one blog per day but I'd hate to see that become a steadfast rule.

We only have a handful of participants these days so we certainly need to encourage each and every one who offers a blog.

timeontarget commented on Tuesday, Oct 03, 2017 at 13:40 PM

It usually takes a few days and mostly a week for any real discussion to develop on any single blog.

I personally look more toward the blog site heading of most popular blogs this week such as:

Most Popular Posts This Week
» Its Not About The Flag-It’s ...
» Our public education system is ...
» Lt. General Rains Hell On ...
» Which One Do We Tear ...
» Cal Thomas/President Trump's UN speech

The mast heading is more important I think than just where one's recent blog is positioned.

timeontarget thank you for your support...I am not going to dignify any other negative comments by responding to them....if anyone values the word of God you are welcome to read the insight that he gives me into his word...if not it is everyone's right to ignore them....as long as I adhere to the guidelines of the site I do well....

timeontarget commented on Tuesday, Oct 03, 2017 at 16:48 PM

Thank you Brother Rice.

as long as I adhere to the guidelines of the site I do well.... Praise the Lord and pass the hat....

brother rice is a hypocrite. a man of god would not use the term "bs". a man of god would not be inconsiderate to others. by posting blog after blog in order to knock other peoples post off the main page is inconsiderate to say the least, and when called out on it to not offer an apology, but to buckle down like he is in the right shows he is NOT a man of god.

Sheran commented on Tuesday, Oct 03, 2017 at 22:47 PM

Thank You @gacpl, I've never heard a preacher use the term "bs" neither! I think he's looking for more Demoracted voters.

Funkentelecky commented on Wednesday, Oct 04, 2017 at 11:07 AM

I have to say that I was surprised that he didn't apologize for what he did to JimmyMack's tribute blog back in August. Usually when a person makes an honest mistake they show contrition and move on. He just moved on. Now let me be clear no one can really judge what's in a persons heart, however "Actions Speak Louder Than Words"

Sheran commented on Wednesday, Oct 04, 2017 at 16:13 PM

I can't get past the thought of a potty mouth preacher.

HMJC commented on Friday, Oct 06, 2017 at 09:22 AM

Just remember that when the sermon goes too long your point becomes clouded in redundancy. I respect your right to testify but please don't be pious and respond with flippant comments about someone exercising their right to feel differently. Honestly it seems kind of counter-intuitive to spreading the word and inclusiveness.

Also please keep in mind that this site is not your personal pulpit. Not everyone believes the same as you on some topics and to be honest, if I want a lesson or a sermon I will go to a church where it should be anyway.

Speaking of pass the hat... try to do the same on this site and not hoard the collection plate.

Well fellow bloggers (including Cedric Rice) this was the most popular blog of last week.

Not exactly what that tells us but at least this Coastal Courier blog site is still reaching somewhat of a following.
