Well the “good” news first; Georgia didn’t make the list which frankly is a little surprising but at least we are not as quite as “bad” as the rest of the country per capita. You will also see a chart posted by Certainly Not the News(CNN) but it does offer insight into Trump’s comments regarding the Charlotte Violence.

“Alt-left” groups were also “very, very violent,” Mr. Trump said early in his exchange with reporters; he went on to assign “blame on both sides”

Many have come out and denounced Trump for not speaking out right away. The ironic thing is this one of the few instances that he took measure of the situation before making a comment. Granted I am not saying he gets an A plus because of this but he did what former administrations wouldn’t do; he simply stated that there was violence from both sides which in turn means that essentially no hate group or violent counter protesters should be absolved for crimes committed in the name of activism.

It also illustrates how responding too soon can turn on you with a quickness. Nobama had several instances during his occupation of office that favored the “better” of the hate groups involved in “Civil Disobedience” that clearly chose a side often before all of the facts were available making statements he would have to re-tract or spin. In short he for the most part would address the issues with ambiguity and non-committal responses so as not to tarnish his “Legacy”

I would ask that you take an objective perusal of the chart breaking down the different types of hate groups that are classified by the SPLC. I will add that the SPLC leans more heavily towards identifying white hate groups which provides a skewed snapshot

If you do the math it comes out to ~65% white hate groups compared to ~35% black hate groups. The other metric to consider is when you break down the all identified hate groups the numbers look considerably different. When you group all white hate groups compared to “All Other” the ratio changes dramatically 45% vs.55% with the All-Other coming out as the higher metric. Is any of this good news? Of course not, but it does paint a different picture regarding hate and ignorance that exists in today’s Modern? Society…

Racism has always been a synonym for ignorance, intolerance, self-perceived inequity, and lack of self-esteem. The inconvenient truth as Al Gore the inventor of the internet would say… Racism in one form or fashion has existed since the dawn of time and always will be a blemish our county seems to exude at the highest and lowest levels of society. This however does not concede that this trend will continue but it does mean that all means of racist rhetoric and crimes committed must be abhorred regardless of which hate group a person affiliates themselves with.

That is the crux of this blight; White only events, Black only events, LGBT, Far right Christian, or any hate group that promotes the ideology of separation by ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs in the guise of progress is the exact opposite of inclusion and diversity regardless of your affiliation or beliefs.

So… what can we do that is actionable at this snapshot in time? The first thing is to cease allowing rallies or demonstrations to occur that promote hate or segregation under the guise of the 1st Amendment. There is zero positive message(s) or enlightenment that is promoted and as long as we as a Nation continue to practice the Political Correctness it is a tragic circle and as we know, going in circles always leads to the same place; nowhere… Zero Tolerance for any type of instrument that could be used to inflict bodily harm and for the love of Pete… Absolutely NO firearms at any sort allowed at said peaceful protests to especially including an AR-15 platform!!! Lastly, it starts with us, how we raise our children, what we do, not the words we say we do. Until we form our opinions based on one’s character as opposed to ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, undecided, (sure I missed a few…) and expect others to do the same regarding us; the status quo does not change.

We have a long way to go but it has to start somewhere and doing something no matter how small will always Trump (Pun Intended…) doing nothing at all. Thoughts…

while we still don't know all the details yet, we do know the person that set up the white supremacist event was a obama supporter. so not everything is as clear as we think.

It would not have made any difference if President Trump had spoken immediately after learning of Charlottesville. No matter what he says or does is never right to the Main Stream Media, the Democrats, and the establishment Republicans. It is ironic that the Democrats claim that he encourages the White Supremacy groups but never mention Antifa or Black Lives Matter. Apparently its alright for some groups to act violent as long as its against President Trump, law enforcement, and his supporters. Despicable is not a strong enough word to describe the bunch of hypocrites!

Funk it's all there. Some of us acknowledge the truth. Right now the Republican Party and the Washington "Republican" establishment are not only failing to present a spine in response to the double standard and defend their elected President. They are also in some cases piling on and in others providing blunt resistance to the President and his agenda. It is becoming more obvious and is enraging a large group of people who came together to elect a Republican president. I hate to say it but Republicans are hurting themselves more than the partisan media is. We expect division and destruction from the media.

I fear that hate will never be eradicated because it seems to come naturally and it can only be dealt with by strict discipline and punishment when necessary.

We need to all try and find Jesus as an old song declared in the early 70s.

When we kicked God and prayer out of our classrooms the Devil sneaked into the back doors of our schools and the result today is simply frightening.

I don't believe any of our founding Fathers ever intended for our Federal government to be nearly as powerful as it is today.

Our Fourth Estate (the media) is corrupt and they seem to all be biased as they attempt to steer these young people down the wrong roads of life.

Only God can save this once great country.
