All of us, here who participate on this Coastal Courier blog site, as timeontarget totally agree that President Trump should not release his tax returns.

Franklin Graham posted the following on Facebook:

Franklin Graham

"Should President Donald J. Trump release his tax returns?
A lot of liberals keep demanding it.

The President hasn’t asked for my advice, but I would say—No way!

Even if these were published, the average American—or the average Congressman, including Senator Chuck Schumer, for that matter—wouldn’t be able to understand them.

President Trump is a billionaire with multiple businesses in multiple states, using our very complicated and corrupt tax code that Congress is responsible for writing—that should be scrapped.

It would just be another huge distraction, and a media frenzy, which is exactly what his enemies want.

We don’t need distractions.

We need to let President Trump focus on what America elected him to do.

We need to get on with the business of solving the problems facing our nation—Forget the tax returns!

We need a simple tax code that all Americans can understand."

I would not release my tax returns to the public under any circumstance if my interests were as far fetched as President Trump.

You liberals who keep pushing this issue should really question how our Congress has so many multimillionaires who have acquired their wealth since entering office.

I'd rather see Hillary's deleted e-mails.

I want to see the following individuals tax returns. Nancy Pelosi, her husband, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, Hillary and Bill Clinton, and the Clinton Foundation. President Trump should ignore their call for him to release his tax returns. Jimmy was so right about individuals becoming multimillionaires while serving in Congress. Could it be insider trading in the Stock Market?

I agree with Sheran that Hillary's deleted emails which are public property (the work related ones)are more important than anyones personal tax returns.

....and no Trump shouldn't release his returns until the audit is concluded as he has stated before.

Liberals make such a big deal about taxing the rich more while in the meantime the tax code allows for them to pay less. What actually happens is people like me don't have the resources to hire a lawyer to pay less than my tax bracket allows 25%. While Obama and Bernie Sanders pay 18 and 13 % while in a 33-39% bracket. Trump paid 25% in 2005 and he is straightforward in saying he's gonna pay as less as possible under current law. If you can't see that taxing the rich more under the current system is a sham. You are indoctrinated by Obama. Crooked Hillary and the rest of the Socialist Democrats.

And don't ever forget that the Democrat party is mostly responsible for the troubles we have in America as the party of 4'S

Slavery
Secession
Segregation
and now in this present day Socialism

No way should Trump release his tax returns! Giving ammunition to the enemy? That would be downright stupid, and President is not a stupid person!

After further research of the tax return issue, I agree that he shouldn't release them.
