Did anyone else question the tastefulness of the "yay" in this tweet?
Hollie MooreBarnidge ‏@CCHBarnidge Jan 22
Late for work b/c of toddler potty probs & ripped stockings. Elected official died late last night. I have chamber gala tonight. Yay, today!
Maybe gala-going types have different standards, but "yay" doesn't seem to fit in a tweet including the death of a well known public official. We all were wondering about the potty probs, though.

Sorry, wrong blog! Hollie MooreBarnidge ‏could learn that we all have a crappy day, if we all shared as she did, we would all have a crappy day on the same day! This is why I don't read anything she writes. First time mothers tend to share more than 2nd time mothers. To me it says I'm reading a lot, I've not a clue as to what I'm doing...

I took it as all these terrible things happened but at least she has something nice to look forward to. I don't see it as offensive.

When the reporter left the Hinesville City Council meeting a while back, they voted themselves a pay raise. (I think they later revisited it.) When the reporter left the school board meeting they gave the superintendent a pay raise. Apparently without even the pretense of a public vote. We found ...

Do the right thing, Mr. Scott
June 06, 2014
In view of his record, now known to the voters, Mr. Marcus Scott should withdraw his candidacy for the Liberty County Board of Education before the November general election. Failing that, responsible citizens should seek out and support a write-in candidate for the post.
