Georgia's Clayton County Schools Lose Accreditation : NPR
Not sure it you can get to it through the url search it, also Dr lee was employed there at the time as Interm superintendent that position was listed on her application. The Board members were not following the Georgia Open meetings act among other things the Governor step in. You have to read the article.
Thanks for the link LibertyTP. Maybe it's me and\or my pc but I could find nothing about Clayton County Schools loss of Accreditation. What I am doing or not doing to access this info?
@LTP: I implore you to send whatever you have to the Coastal Courier, specifically Jeremy McAbee as he is the reporter doing the leg work here in Liberty re: BOE and the Superintendent.
If Liberty County loses accreditation many questions will be asked. The Courier is in the best position to do the asking before things go from bad to worse.
Jimmy just put this in the search bar Georgia's Clayton County Schools Lose Accreditation and the articles should show up
Try this Jimmy!
SACS will not do a thing. They are very much aware of Dr Lee. One of her first removals was to eliminate Harley Grove, a man of integrity and intelligence who added much to Liberty county. Why you ask? Could it have been his close work with SACS throughout Georgia! Of course it was.
Just think the bad press she is getting along with the board members they now know employee's of BOE do not trust them as well as the community. They all have lost that respect. I am sure they will be on their p's and Q"s now. Everyone is watching their ever move. To lose the community respect..........how sad.
What you don't understand is the BOE Board members are on HER team and totally support her. The community VOTED in each BOE member and the community continues to support them no matter what. Obviously the business owners who are her so called "sponsors" seem to support her.I would like to see that list published! Nothing will change, there will be no investigation. The only people who will continue to suffer are the teachers and staff. Most people here seem to be comfortable with corruption in their leadership. The answer is to move. Why do you think all the jobs are going to Pooler lately? Just wait until they finish building schools up there. Then the last good teacher out of Liberty County can turn off the lights. Problem solved!
That is exactly why I am considering taking my long goodbye down to Boca Raton. Also looking at Venice Florida.
I have lived here all my life and raised two children here who fortunately got out before the local Apocalypse.
However, much will be solved IF the Army drawdown is as bad as it is being said to be...a loss of 16,000 troops. The population will drastically shrink, there will be lots of already vacant houses, but we will consequently have a lower property tax base. It will be old Hinesville again except for a lot of vacant buildings, businesses, and homes.
But those that remain will be rid of the money mongers. We would be a small town Detroit.
Apologies for taking the blog off course. Ms. Lee just had an audience wid da guv-nah.
Brings to mind an old and oft used quote: Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
