There is probably even more and if the Courier allows Jeremy McAbee to continue his investigative reporting no telling what else is there.
I left a link on PN's blog "Star Program being Cut" which relates to Dr. Lee being denied the Birmingham Alabama Supt. job. Reading the commentary on that site issues concerning her resume, grammatical errors, references, where she earned her 'Doctorate' etc. etc.
I have urged follow-up on Dr. Lee's "no comment" comments regarding benefits and the total cost of the BMTs being hired.
So yes. She had a signed contract in hand, but had it bumped up under dubious circumstances.
The Courier needs to turn Mr. McAbee loose on this one and let him dig. There are just too many issues out there regarding this self described "Change Agent."
I see now, where the Supt. used the PTP luncheon as a platform to question the Coastal Courier's reporting of her positions regarding the squashing of STAR and even passed out her version of events surrounding the reporting!
I, for one, would like to know how you get a raise in pay AFTER you have signed a contract for a stated set amount of dollars for a given period?
Maybe I am missing something...but if the Superintendent is "all about transparency" then the truth should be easily obtained. No?
Something is wrong here...
I really hope that the courier continues to dig at this story. The superintendent is way out of line here!!
