No it wasn't in the Coastal Courier... It was in the New York Times, still good though....
The article went on to explain how Starbucks was rewriting policies for their barissitas when it comes to scheduling. It seems that with software the company was using to do the scheduling of employees there were erratic schedules assigned. The erratic scheduling resulted in erratic lives for the the employees. Sleep deprivation and the inability to make any schedule for any other activity was and is making life for employees nationwide a living hell. It is not an uncommon practice to have an employee close the store and turn around and open the store the next day.
I am not sure why but something caused Starbucks to look at the scheduling of employees. I hope that all the other companies in America will follow suite.
