OK Ms. Pelton. We got the message. Worthy cause but you may have watered it down a bit with 5 (five) blogs on the subject. Again, you got out some good information, but gridlocking the Blog space with basically the same info dilutes its importance and many bloggers, including myself, really do not like that. You can go back in an delete a few of them as any Author of a Blog can, and maybe you ought to consider doing that.
BTW my wife is a Type I Diabetic. Very well controlled since being diagnosed 44 years ago. A1C is a favorable 7.3 which is a fantastic number for a Type I Diabetic. She tests regularly and adjusts her Humolog accordingly and take her long lasting Insulin: LANTUS in consistent doses in the evening as directed.
This is just MY opinion, but I have little sympathy for people with Type II diabetes as it essentially is a weight management situation in which the person is eating too much and gaining too much weight that their Pancreas cannot keep up with by producing enough insulin to deal with the fat they are putting on.
But, Eating RIGHT is essential and people need to understand what they are putting in their bodies.
Good cause. Just think about scaling back some of these repetitive blogs, please.
Sorry about the repeats! I'm still learning about how to make blog entries:( I hope you will all have patience with the newbie, and I promise it won't happen again. Thanks for the feedback.
