In recent news commentary on illegal immigrant amnesty, the current border crisis was being described as “President Obama’s Hurricane Katrina.” This conjecture is now being reinforced in the most unusual places.

Not long ago in another blog, I cited a poll which identified President Obama as the “worst President since World War II.” African-American residents in the President’s home town of Chicago, Illinois, have not only seconded that emotion, but also have taken it one step further. In an article posted by Jim Hoft at thegatewaypundit.com, the headline reads:

“Chicago Inner City Blacks GO OFF on Obama Over Illegal Immigration “Worst President Ever”

And here’s the quote by the Chicagoan pictured at left:

“With the president setting aside all these funds for immigrants and forsaken African-American community and African-American families, I think that’s a disgrace. And Barack is from the heart of 55th in the City of Chicago… He will probably go down as the worst president ever elected. Bill Clinton was the African-American president.“

For the article and accompanying video, see:

So - blacks from his own home town are now referring to Mr. Obama as “the worst president EVER ELECTED.” Who would’ve thunk it? The days of Hope and Change are truly gone - EVERYWHERE.

Bring on the November elections!

@Sebe. Exactly how many BLACKS are in your head count here? Does your source speak for ALL BLACKS?

This essentially is a Leave It To Beaver Rerun of one of your previous Blogs. Same people, same story.

Seriously Sebe: I think Chi-town is one big fluster cluck. I would do as you did, and leave that area.

timeontarget commented on Tuesday, Jul 15, 2014 at 07:06 AM

Is it not true that Chicago has been under solid Democratic rule for a very long time now?

Good blog thanks.

JimmyMack commented on Tuesday, Jul 15, 2014 at 07:23 AM

Yes that is true Tot. And this is really Sebe's bailiwick, but Chicago and the state of Illinois' economic footing is no where near the poverty level what Jackson Mississippi and the entire the rest of that State (worst in the United States) is under Republican rule.

They play hard ball politics in Chi-town. It is ugly to see up close. Similar to seeing how sausage is made. Or say, how cotton was and is picked in Mississippi.

Hi Jimmy and TOT:

*Re Blacks and head count - of course my source doesn't speak for ALL blacks; however, we're now seeing the worm turn on "hope and change" in African-American communities across the country as Obama continues to fail to deliver. Five years is a long time to disappoint. In that time, even the most ardent supporters can eventually see the light.

Here's more:

*At this link, read the comments of Peggy Joseph - a Florida voter and prominent Obama supporter who became infamous during the 2008 presidential campaign for saying Barack Obama would “pay for my gas and my mortgage.”

She now says:

"(Obama) was not who we thought or expected him to be.’”

"Truth and honesty are important,”

“He (Obama) lied about everything.”

See: http://www.wnd.com/2014/07/hey-obama-...

*The next one starts out:

"Obama is more confused than a woodpecker in a concrete forest. He has no real idea how he has fallen so fast from grace. So Obama finds himself in very uncomfortable territory—He knows that he is insane, but still not sure what’s wrong.

I warned people a while back that Obama really didn’t want to be president; he just wanted to win it! Obama is lazy at heart, and all he wanted were the awards and the accolades of the presidency, not the work!"

and it closes this way:

"Obama is trying to do damage control in the black community—the only community where Obama still has a foothold. He knows that if he loses this solid base, he is of no use to the Democrats who put him in power.

Democrats in general know that if they lose the black community, this won’t just affect the election of 2010, but would have a ripple effect that would be devastating to the Regressive agenda for years to come.

As for the black community, they are waking up. The black community is slowly realizing that Uncle Barry has schizophrenia, and that he is no rock star.

Obama has unknowingly brought back the Reagan Revolution, as many blacks are seeing Democrats for what they really are, regardless of color."

See: http://theblacksphere.net/2010/10/bla...

*Finally - what does Obama do when he perceives that his support in the African-American community is beginning to wane? HE BLAMES THEM!!!

See: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/p...

So when he fails to deliver for African-Americans them he kicks THEM in the @$$?!?!? NOBODY puts up with that kind of treatment forever.

TOT: Yes - Chicago has been Dem for my entire lifetime. They've had an occasional "independent" or RINO (Republican in name only) in a prominent role every now and then, but Chicago has been a huge union stronghold forever. The Dems OWN the unions - and consequently they have owned Chicago politics. IMHO - they have wrecked that city.

@Sebe: Yes we ALL can cherry pick our links and what Black Folks have to say. That's a given.

The following quote reeks however of stereotype white thinking of yesteryear like: 'We knows they be happy cus they be singing all da time." Except in your use of the words it reads: 'We all knows day be changin' der minds bout dat uppity black boy.' Racist talk every way you cut it.

Here is your quote:
*Re Blacks and head count - of course my source doesn't speak for ALL blacks; however, we're now seeing the worm turn on "hope and change" in African-American communities across the country as Obama continues to fail to deliver. Five years is a long time to disappoint. In that time, even the most ardent supporters can eventually see the light.

Yassa Boss, dem folks be changing der minds now, don't ja know! Sayeth the White Man.

sebekm commented on Sunday, Jul 20, 2014 at 16:29 PM

Yes We Can. But a few years ago, we wouldn't have had much in the headlines to cherry-pick FROM, now would we? The monolith is cracking, and the results are being reported by the Lamestream Media (for a change).

Bring WHAT on?

JimmyMack commented on Tuesday, Jul 22, 2014 at 16:03 PM

Republican gerrymandering gives Conservatives what they need to hold the HOUSE. But, maybe not the Senate and especially NOT the White House. Republicans have lost the National Popular vote 5 our of the last 6 elections on the National level. That trend WILL continue. Please take note of that statement. If I am wrong, come back and rub my nose in it.

In Georgia we may steal a Senate Seat from the boys in Red. Michelle Nunn would make an excellent Senator just as her Democratic father, Sam Nunn, did. She is anything but a Democrat in the Zig-Zag Zell mode. She is a woman of principle.

Republicans have been selling the END OF THE WORLD IS COMING for Five Generations. Embodied in the dated 1963 (circa) words of Barry McQuire in his song the EVE of DESTRUCTION. You would think that they would learn something in Fifty Years. But stupid is what stupid does. Conservatives of today just scream FEAR louder. Doesn't work.

The eastern world it is explodin', violence flarin', bullets loadin'
You're old enough to kill but not for votin'
You don't believe in war, what's that gun you're totin'
And even the Jordan river has bodies floatin'

But you tell me over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction

Don't you understand, what I'm trying to say?
Can't you see the fear that I'm feeling today?
If the button is pushed, there's no running away
There'll be none to save with the world in a grave
Take a look around you, boy, it's bound to scare you, boy

But you tell me over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction

Yeah, my blood's so mad, feels like coagulatin'
I'm sittin' here just contemplatin'
I can't twist the truth, it knows no regulation
Handful of Senators don't pass legislation

And marches alone can't bring integration
When human respect is disintegratin'
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin'

And you tell me over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction

Think of all the hate there is in Red China
Then take a look around to Selma, Alabama
Ah, you may leave here for four days in space
But when you return it's the same old place

The poundin' of the drums, the pride and disgrace
You can bury your dead but don't leave a trace
Hate your next door neighbor but don't forget to say grace

And you tell me over and over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction

Republicans may not peddle hope and change, but they do peddle FEAR. Even if that fear is little brown babies and women coming across the border.

sebekm commented on Wednesday, Jul 23, 2014 at 13:10 PM

The Dems peddle just as much fear as anybody. MEDISCARE! Social Security. Food Stamps. Welfare. Racism. Misogyny. They are all distortions and/or fabrications of the left to attack the GOP.

Fortunately, more and more of the millenials aren't buying it. See:

In the long run, Obama and the progressive left may turn out to be the best thing that ever happened for the political right in this country. When our youth bears the financial and sociological brunt of what the progressives have wrought during the Obama presidency, they'll understand how they were hoodwinked.
