Turner Field, definitely one of my favorite places on Earth.

Thanks Tiger 5 and Jimmy. The Braves held on to a 5-4 victory with Craig Kimbrell garnering his 26th save of the season! Mike Minor got into trouble in the 5th leading 5-2 and gave up 2 runs with 1 out and 2 on and Freddie Gonzalez was forced to pull him with 4 and 1/3 innings before he gave up the lead completely. Overall it was a good game and I had hoped Minor could get through the 5th but Gonzalez made a good call.

He Fights
February 13, 2018
My Leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.” Here’s my answer: We Right-thinking people have tried dignity. There could not have ...

Who Pays What in Taxes?
December 22, 2017
Politicians exploit public ignorance. Few areas of public ignorance provide as many opportunities for political demagoguery as taxation. Today some politicians argue that the rich must pay their fair share and label the proposed changes in tax law as tax cuts for the rich. Let's look at who pays what, ...

A Rasmussen poll taken in 2013 asked American adults, "Are most white Americans racist?" "Are most Hispanic Americans racist?" and "Are most black Americans racist?" Of the three groups, the winner was blacks. Thirty-seven percent said most blacks were racist; 18 percent felt most Hispanics were racist; and 15 percent ...
