Why Educators in GA Are fed up with Gov. Deal?

Take Me To Post Comment Form

The educators in Georgia are making their voices known and letting the Governor know that they've not forgotten the raw deal they've been handed since he's been in office.

Some of the complaints; he's decimated the HOPE Scholarship and that he's slashed billions from the education budget, causing 9,000 teacher layoffs and shortened school calendars? And all while padding his own pockets and making his rich friends richer? (A better Georgia)

91 public school systems in Georgia had to raise property taxes in order to make up for lost state education funding.

And yet, Gov. Deal is bragging about a $750 million education shortfall.
