Take Me To Post Comment Form's more humor from The Dark Side:

*CBS Houston reports that Tactical Firearms in Katy, Texas, "has put up a new sign that is grabbing people's attention." A picture is worth a thousand words. See insert at left and the link below:

*FLASH: Researchers have just discovered the fossil remains of a creature that stalked the earth 600 million years ago. They have dubbed it "Pinocchio Rex" based on the following description:

“It has the familiar toothy grin of T. rex, but its snout was much longer and it had a row of horns on its nose. It might have looked a little comical, but it would have been as deadly as any other tyrannosaur, and maybe even a little faster and stealthier."

In view of how many "Pinocchio" awards the President and his cohorts have received from the Washington Post in recent years, perhaps they should consider changing the party logo from a donkey to the newly discovered P-Rex. They should put it to a vote at their next convention: should it be a jackass or a nosy dinosaur? I see arguments for either side.

*Finally, we were informed recently that:

"Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, has accepted a position with Ukraine's largest private gas producer, but that in no way means the White House signed off on or endorses his hiring, presidential spokesman Jay Carney said Tuesday."

"Asked about the hiring by a reporter Tuesday, Carney referred questions about it to the vice president's office and noted that it did not indicate that Obama was involved or approved of it.

“Hunter Biden and other members of the family are obviously private citizens and where they work is not an endorsement by the president or vice president,” he said."

What's so funny about this, you ask? Just think if it was Dick Cheney's son or daughter who had taken this job given current conditions in the Ukraine and the conditions of the lamestream media in America. You guessed it: The left would be in orbit and the media would be absolutely killing the administration.

That's why I call it humor from The Dark Side.

...and here's one more for the list:

*Rush Limbaugh was recently voted Children's Book "Author of the Year" for 2014. Yes - that's right - in voting by CHILDREN for their favorite book/author, Limbaugh won for his book titled: "Rush Revere and The Brave Pilgrims: Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans." As reported by

"In accepting the honor, Limbaugh said, "I love America. I wish everybody did. I hope everybody will. It's one of the most fascinating stories in human history...and it's a delight and it's an opportunity to try to share that story with young people so they can grow and learn to love and appreciate the country in which they're growing up and will someday run and lead and inherit.""

While this item may not fit some folks' idea of "Humor from The Dark Side," it brought a smile to my face. President Obama wins "Lie of the Year" for "If You Like Your Plan, yada yada yada"; Rush Limbaugh wins "Author of the Year" for essentially writing a historical story about himself.

There's got to be some humor in there somewhere....
