North Carolina’s Board of Elections found that tens of thousands of registered voters from the state have personal information matching that of registered voters in other states, and appear to have voted in states other than North Carolina in 2012. In some cases, votes were cast under names of individuals who had passed away before Election Day.

The review searched databases in 27 other states and 101 million voter records for information such as matching names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers.

The review found that 35,570 North Carolina voters from 2012 shared the same first names, last names, and dates of birth with individuals who voted in other states. Another 765 Tar Heel State residents who voted in 2012 had the the same names, birthdays, and final four digits of a Social Security number as voters elsewhere.

Meanwhile, the election board’s executive director, Kim Westbrook, told lawmakers that 81 deceased North Carolinians apparently voted in 2012 as well. While some appear to have submitted absentee ballots prior to their death, she said “there are between 40 and 50 who had died at a time that that’s not possible.”

Westbrook offered a series of proposals for the state to consider to better secure its voting practices and reduce fraud, including on-site digital face-recognition or electronic-signature technology.

gacpl, I'm not sure that we can have a clean and honest results election the way we are presently overseeing elections.

one of the real problems is the libatards cant think for themselves and only repeat what they are told to believe. like the one saying voter fraud is too small to worry about, but when it is shown to be a bigger problem they just go right back to what they are told to believe anyway. until people open there eyes it won't get fixed. but the problem with that is they wont open their eyes until the same tricks are played back at them. then it will be a whole different thing then.

My mother taught me-when others call people out of their name-their limited in thought. Happy Thursday Gacpl- may the sun shine on you today. It's a beautiful day.

PN, I gotta give it to ya; you by far have the best set of rose colored glasses. spin it anyway you want, our country is a mess and divided no matter who you chose to blame. However, I have always subscribed to the fact that who ever is the "Leader" is culpable for the good, bad, and the ugly. In all of your posts I cannot recall one that remotely alluded to the administrations responsibility. Ironically the items you listed are legitimate issues but for some reason the rosy view seems to cloud reality. We all have our opinions but, the sad state our country is in now is irrefutable not matter how many positive half truths are presented in the media. at the end of the day if the good outweighed the bad I would be less prone to be disappointed with the current state of affairs. Regardless at the end of the day his only true legacy will be the first almost black president. Just for the record, that is a statistic, not an accomplishment...

HMJC-lol- I don't think the administration is perfect but I'm wise enough to know that a lot of the division in the country is because of the color of the POTUS skin. I also acknowledge that some people don't give a care about his skin color-they hate his policies! With all that said-I support the POTUS 100% and I agree with MOST of his policies. At the end of the day-what doe's it profit a man to gain the riches of the world-than lose his soul. When I enter them pearly gates- I want the man upstairs to say well done thy good and faithful servant-you've been faithful over a few- you feed the poor when they were hungry-you helped to care for the sick-you gave more of yourself-because you realized-it's better to give than to receive. I want to hear him say well done.

Let's just get everybody together
Let's get unified
The sky will open
The lights will come down
Celestial choirs will be singing
And everyone will know we should do the right thing and the world will be perfect

Check out Hillary in this 2008 clip. She will describe Obama around 44 seconds inside the clip. However what's even more amazing than that is she said it before Chief and I have been doing so on this blog for several years is this. Obama will say he will do this, and you examine his plan and he doesn't.

HMJC, personally I wouldn't call or describe myself as black if my mother is white. Stanley Ann Dunham was born in Kansas and her father named her after him. IMHO calling myself black in his case would be denouncing my mothers heritage therefore I would identify myself as bi-racial. Tiger Woods mother is Asian or Polynisian so that's why he identifies himself as bi-racial. IMHO opinion Obama does this for political and racial divisiveness. Even though he looks like PN and me, he doesn't understand what it is like to be raised as a black child in a black neighborhood. He grew up with white parents in Hawaii and had an Indonesian stepfather when he lived there for 6-8 years. Then he attended the most prestigious private schools in Hawaii and on to Occidental and Harvard.

I'd love to see a Romney Carson or Carson Romney ticket.

We've simply got to elect someone who understands that we have to learn to live within our means.

Otherwise we are going to be bankrupt.
