Mountain. Your last post was very informative and inspirational. I assume that the debate that deferred from the title of the blog didn't set well with you. I hope you don't let discourage you and continue to contribute to this site in the near future.
Well Mountain. It is an election year; mid terms. So we always got politics. Then there is religion, sex, money, and race. We did a few of those in your absence.
Why don't you give it go and talk about anything you want.
I'll help you out a little... should baby boys be circumcised at birth or not?
Your thoughts, Mountain?
Well Mountain. Politics is always a hot topic. We even got the mid term ones coming up. However, during your absence we've knocked around Religion, Sex, Race and money, the unworthiness of Fire fighters and Sheran's beach pictures. (you missed a good one there.)
Anyway, why not crank up the old think tank and turn out something we can kick around a little bit.
Tell you what, I'll help get you started: Do you think baby boys should be circumcised at birth or not?
Your thoughts, Mountain
Personally though, it's a family decision fraught with religious and societal overtones. Plus, the little feller having his privates cut on ain't got much to say about it all.
What do you think Sheran? It's Friday, after all.
I'm with Mountain! I'm tired of politics all the time..... I'm also looking forward to Sebekm's new blog on voter fraud.
@Sheran. Well we all know where you will be going with the voter fraud thing.
I want to know how you feel about male circumcision.
I'll even make it political for ya. Do Republicans more or less circumcise their off spring than do Democrats. Or are those stats skewed also?
Mountain, I understand your thought about our seeming to be "stuck in a rut of continual debate about politics" because that is the apparent choice of those of us who are the "regulars" here.
I would like to see more of the discussion directed towards Liberty County issues.
Especially digging more into our upcoming consideration of yet another sales tax proposal, a new SPLOST, which if put on the ballot must be done so within the next couple of months.
"The news is not about news anymore. It's about protecting some people, destroying others and shoving a socialist agenda down the collective throats of America."
Mountain the statement above was copied from a blog of yours from last July.
That was one of the better pieces offered on this Coastal Courier blog site.
Please consider submitting more of your own thoughts such as that.
I consider your few comments on this site to be of the highest quality content of the many comments posted by the "regulars" who visit and contribute to this site.
