Boys & Girls Club of America Offers No-Cost Membership to Military Youth

Here is a wonderful opportunity for military children! The MISSION: Youth Outreach partnership supports military youth ages 6 to 18. Through this partnership, children of National Guard, Reserve and Active Duty families, who do not live or have access to a military Youth Center, can receive free membership to their local Club.

Boys & Girls Clubs offer a wide variety of educational, recreational, cultural and social activities for youth. Clubs are designed to maximize opportunities for young people to acquire s sense of belonging, usefulness, influence and competence. A typical Club has an arts and crafts area, gymnasium, library, games room and multipurpose room. Some Clubs have swimming pools, computer learning centers, camps and outdoor play areas. All Boys & Girls Clubs are staffed by trained professionals who truly care and are vested in realizing the full potential of each young person.

Military families who do not live near or have access to Military Youth Center can locate a Club by using the "Find a Club" feature on www.bgca.org/military. This tool displays Clubs closest to military families. You can also call 1-800-854-CLUB.

Families that have any questions about registration or who require additionalinformation please contact Eric Jackson at ejackson@bgca.org or Le’Stacia Warren at lwarren@bgca.org.
