Proposed Bill Allows Paul To Run For Kentucky Senate And For U.S. President

March 4, 2014 by UPI - United Press International, Inc.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (UPI) — A proposed Kentucky bill lets a candidate run for multiple offices, allowing Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to run both for President and for his current seat, a State legislator said.

Kentucky State Senate Majority Leader Damon Thayer told The Washington Times he has proposed a bill allowing any candidate in the State to run for multiple offices simultaneously.

“I am working on clarifying an ambiguous state law that Rand Paul believes is unconstitutional if it is interpreted to bar running for re-election to the Senate, and for president, at the same time,” Thayer said.

The clarification would allow Paul to continue to represent Kentucky in the Senate if he wins reelection but does not win the 2016 Presidential race,

Washington, D.C. newspaper The Hill said, adding it is the latest indication Paul will seek the 2016 Republican nomination for President.

The bill would likely face opposition in Kentucky’s Democratic-controlled House, the Times noted.

Leave it to a Tea Bagger to fix it so he can keep his foot on third base while simultaneously trying to steal home.

However I wish him much success in getting the GOP Nomination for Prez. I just suggest he change the texture of his toupee from pubic hair to maybe...I don't know...maybe dreadlocks.
