Most people are worried about the schools leaving God out of the Pledge of Allegiance but their sleeping at the wheel while the legislature is voting to allow guns in our schools and house of worship.

Why would anyone need a gun in church or teachers need guns in schools? Why don't we put resource officers back in the schools to protect the staff and students? Teachers/staff aren't trained to protect and serve.

I'm also concerned about the recent shootings of pastors in the pulpit and people showing up at funerals that aren't affiliated with the church packing guns because they want to prove a point.

This may sound far-fetched but it's not. My mom always said " if you let Satan ride-he will want to drive". Who's in the driver seat now?

Please read below.

How may students will lose their lives because an in-experienced teacher/staff member shoots a student because they thought "he/she was pulling a gun out of their back pack or how many weapons come up missing from the classroom?

Schools in Georgia could allow teachers to carry firearms while others with licenses could take their guns into houses of worship, more bars and government offices under a plan adopted Tuesday by House lawmakers.

The measure, passed by a vote of 119-56, comes during an election year as Republican leaders are seeking to expand the places where people with state-issued licenses may take their weapons. GOP lawmakers are facing pressure from vocal gun rights groups after a similar effort failed last year.

Well said! Oh, "God forbid bars"-bars are also included in the legislation. So, they can now carry a gun while drinking in a public place. Don't step on nobody's boots/shoes, talk to someone's woman, or accidentally fall on someone (drunk) you might end up with a bullet in your tail.
