Why would anyone vote for a party where most of the congressman/senators consistently lie,dis-respect women, look down on the poor and take away voting right?

Over the past few weeks we've been over-whelmed with stories about the behavior of the Republican party. I never thought I would say this but the "Grand Ole Party" is headed straight to .... you fill in the blanks.

Read it for yourself. Straight from the Republican playbook.

Another Home Run, PN. One other thing was how the Right's God in Human Form, Ronald Wilson Reagan ( ole 666 himself :)) ran his 1984 campaign on the Confederate Stars and Bars in the South.) He deftly played the race card to court the white vote. And got it.

Yada yada yada...more war on women...the Democrats are no angels...I won't bore you with a response, as I won't be bored by viewing the links....

gacpl commented on Friday, Jan 31, 2014 at 23:09 PM

i agree, the posting of link after link is not worth looking at, after all PN didn't seem to have any objection when they released last week that the present administration is under paying women in the admin more then any admin had before.

Funkentelecky commented on Saturday, Feb 01, 2014 at 21:32 PM

gacpl, PN watches MSNBC Heehaw, the Clinton News Network and any and all progressive initiatives like DailyKos, Huffington Post, etc, etc, etc. That's fine and alright with me however how are you gonna actually have a legitimate opinion on anything unless you actually watch the evil opponents networks too. She believes like Obama that you shouldn't listen or even give any credibility to any one and any network, person or entity that criticizes President Obama.

@Funk-bless your soul. Don't patronize me because I don't think like you. You should have met me 3 years ago I would have put some things on your mind and told you about yourself. If I could let loose on you for 1 minute and still keep my dignity-I would tell you what everyone is afraid too.

JimmyMack commented on Sunday, Feb 02, 2014 at 07:35 AM

Yall don't go after each other, now. You are both above that. Leave that sort of thing to the 'can be mean ones' such as myself and Tot.

Funkentelecky commented on Sunday, Feb 02, 2014 at 11:35 AM

PN,bless your soul too, I really don't care what people think of me because I know who I am and my actions in life will@ speak for me. And be advised don't paint such a broad brush of me such as the word "everyone".Everyone don't feel the the same about me as you do. Now here's an honest question, do you watch MSNBC. CNN, follow DailyKos and Huffington Post and do you not discourage people not to watch the EVIL FOX network ?

Thanks in Advance!

Funk- I don't think negative of you. We're two different people. You give me a hard time at times but that's life. You've actually had my back a few times in here when the bullets were firing so I know you have a heart.

Can't stomach Fox.

Funkentelecky commented on Sunday, Feb 02, 2014 at 12:55 PM

PN, I apologize to you wholeheartedly because my initial response should have been like my post at 11:35.

My views are different because of my diversified experiences in life and a willingness to listen to all sides. I watch MSNBC and CNN and really don't understand, I'm perplexed on how they paint ALL Republicans as the same which is untrue. There is so much diversity in views from Conservatives, Libertarians, Progressives, Tea Partiers and RINO's and that is one of the reasons I agree with you and Jimmy of an implosion however I think that's a good thing and hope it will lead the GOP as a whole to just uphold the laws on the books "Constitution" That's what politicians need to do instead of forcing their personal idealogy within legislation upon the country.

sebekm commented on Sunday, Feb 02, 2014 at 13:27 PM

Funky: MSNBC is the worst excuse for a news network there is. They seem to be spending more time apologizing for despicable comments against Republicans than they do about reporting REAL news. Here's the latest:

This comes on the heels of one of their commentators making disgusting comments directed toward Sarah Palin:

If you watch MSNBC, you are part of an ever-dwindling viewership. People are abandoning this network in DROVES. This follows a general trend which includes the disappearance of left-leaning talk radio, whose obituary was published recently:

I'm looking for a news announcement which says Al-Jazeera News has better ratings than MSNBC. That shouldn't be too far off. NBC/MSNBC has recently polled as the LEAST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS:

As for CNN, they continue to go into the dumper as far as being a relevant cable news organization. But CNN and MSNBC pander to the extreme left-fringe constituencies of the Democratic party, which has also been dwindling significantly, even during the Obama administration. I mean - after all - when you do nothing but bash-bash-bash 24-7/365 days a year, that gets old for even the crustiest Kool-Aid drinker.

CNN used to be a great network. I watched them A LOT in the 90's. I was a regular viewer of Chris Matthews and other commentators on MSNBC. But Fox News Channel sprung up for a reason - and both CNN and MSNBC are to blame by the way they allowed their coverage to turn into leftist diatribes. Their own "fair and balanced" audiences by-and-large went over to Fox News. Now it is Fox News that is the 500 lb. gorilla eating all the ratings bananas, while CNN and MSNBC get to clean out his cage.

Funkentelecky commented on Sunday, Feb 02, 2014 at 15:05 PM

PN, I try my best to be consistent. Do you see how the networks and people you listen to does exactly what you paint a whole party as doing.

Finding out the whole truth is painful, slow and hard. You have to keep the enemy closer than your friends.
