WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THIS SITE

Take Me To Post Comment Form

We have male and female contributors to this site.

We have married and single people

We have military and civilian

We have white and black Americans (and perhaps some foreigners)

We have a broad array of participants

We have some anonymous contributors with hidden identity and some who choose to reveal their identity.

Many differences of opinion on virtually all subjects.

Timeontarget has shared his thoughts on many issues and I hope I have not hurt anyone's feelings with those.

I know that many of TOT's positions don't go with the flow.

I hope I am not driven from this medium for honestly stating his positions.

I would appreciate some response regardless of the position.

I can answer that one Tot: It is to discuss: Arts\Entertainment, Business, Charity/Churches/Connect Stewart-Hunter, Education, Environmental/Activism/ Family-Friends,
General, Health, Humor-Jokes, Lifestyle, Pets, Animals, Politics, Science/Technology, Sports and Travel.

Why? What did you think the Goal was?

timeontarget commented on Friday, Jan 24, 2014 at 14:48 PM

Yes it is to discuss the things of interest in our community and surrounding area.

It is a medium hosted by the official Liberty County Organ.

It is an electronic "Home Town" Newspaper, sort of , do you think?

I would not necessarily call this here site the equivalent of a NEWSPAPER. We bloggers are afforded much more latitude regarding voicing our opinions and issues as long as it is within the TOS.

Also, it is my understanding, that the COURIER's requirement for identifying ones self as in letters to the EDITOR are more stringent than they are here where anonymity seems to be a 'virtue' to some. I do, however, realize that there are some instances where anonymity might be necessary by a blogger or letter writer.

Does that answer your question? Or were you expecting me to walk down another path with my answer?

I'll respond maybe tomorrow, got to go tend to animals and drip pipes now.

Thanks

@Tot: Now that was a rather civil exchange between us don't you think? We didn't go in depth about anything but...we were polite.

Performance trumps color.
