Looks Delicious! Maybe just a pinch of neller ice cream on the side ok with you?

Ditto. 7-UP cake - sounds effervescent!

Sheran commented on Thursday, Nov 14, 2013 at 19:49 PM

PN, that sounds good! I'm just scared of all the suger... What would Michelle Obama say? All jokes aside I'm boarder line diebetic. Thanks for sharing.

Yo Sheran, You are too young to be borderline diabetic and too young to be talking about geezer health issues that you scolded me about. Anyway, at the risk of none of it being my business, did you take a glucose Tolerance Test also? How did you get your numbers?

JimmyMack commented on Friday, Nov 15, 2013 at 09:02 AM

I just had an idea!! We can all start using the HEALTH section to post blogs regarding our various ailments. Nothing like a group experience to vent our health miseries!!

Sheran commented on Friday, Nov 15, 2013 at 19:07 PM

I would not like that blog! I had a doctor years ago, because one family member was diebetic to watch my sugar intake. I think that doctor to this day! I'm not obese!☺

@Sheran. Thanks. I will share with you that my wife is a TYPE I diabetic. Her pancreas does not work and she must test her blood daily and take insulin injections if her sugar is too high.

Sheran, I anit tryin to get in your business.,.but at the very least you need a glucometer to prick your finger from time to time to get your insulin blood level. Your target score should be between 80-120. That is Normal. If it is below 80 you could begin feeling nauseaus and dizzy. On the other hand if you level is ABOVE 120 or higher you will feel very good. Even if it keeps escalating you will feel even BETTER. The problem is you muscle tissue will be being devoured and you could eventually lose muscle tissue, eyesight, and heart issues. My wife has an artificial aortic valve.

I aint your daddy, darling. But if you are pre-diabetic at the very least go get yourself a glucometer and test you blood every now and then to be safe.

I do check my sugar... God, I'd love to be able to sit down to a breakfast of pancakes with syrup. The last time I did I lost 2&1/2 on the nearest couch I could get to. I will one day be like your wife, and I truly wish her the best.

Sheran commented on Saturday, Nov 16, 2013 at 21:36 PM

JM, why don't you start a blog on this subject! I'll chime in with the boarder line. Maybe together we can help people notice some signs. ☺

JimmyMack commented on Monday, Nov 18, 2013 at 16:47 PM

I will put it on my list to do, Sheran. I am still recovering...kinda...from that Auburn Hail Mary that beat the Dawgs and I FEEL like I am having a low blood sugar attack; nauseas, sweating, upset and irritable. And that is after I removed my head from the porcelain throne.

sebekm commented on Monday, Nov 18, 2013 at 18:16 PM

Auburn. PHOOEY. I'm sure I put the whammy on the Dawgs by predicting an undefeated national championship. I'll never do that again. My only consolation is that Sporty (I think) agreed.

But those GA players should NEVER have allowed that pass to be completed. They need to learn to:

*Knock the ball down

*Knock the other team's players down

*FOUL if necessary - just don't let anybody catch that ball
