Sometime last night, or early this morning, my boyfriends 2007 Yamaha R1 was taken from the parking lot right in front of our apartment building in Governor's Quarters. We chose to live here because it was away from the main parts of Hinesville, and seemed quieter, less crime. But now the crime has reached us. When Sgt. R. left for work around 6am on July 2nd, he discovered it was gone. Recently we have seen some strange vehicles circling the area but we never thought this would happen.
The bike is a cherry-red 2007 Yamaha R1 in great condition, with Pennsylvania plates. The wheel lock was engaged at the time of the theft so the criminals would have had to physically pick it up and load it onto a truck or a tow truck.

Sgt. R is a wonderful, great guy and he definitely did not deserve to have one of his favorite things taken from him. Please help so we can catch and stop these thieves in our community.
