When parents have their first IEP (Individual Education Program (IEP) meeting with there child's IEP team, they are just too overwhelmed. Parents have no idea what the team is talking about so they assume the trained educators of there IEP team, would make the best possible decisions for there child's education. This is just not so. Parents have to be educated about individuals with disabilities education act (IDEA).

The Military Student Transition Consultant,Liberty County School District and the Ft.Stewart(SLO) will team up to present a workshop to help prepare parents for IEP development and provide additional information and resources.

Location: Live Oak Public Library (Hinesville)
When: October 10, 2013
Time: 10a.m.-11:00 am.

The event is free and open to Military families and the public.

Please respond with your interest today. You can contact us by emailing and/or calling 912-876-3038.
