Red Line # 3

Take Me To Post Comment Form

Well my fellow pontificators, our Commander and Chump has drawn a new "Red Line" This time in regards to the Iranain nuclear program. Here is a gem of a quote from the attached article:

"President Obama drew another “red line” Sunday, now on Iranian nukes — and insisted that this time, he really means it, despite infamously wavering on his red-line pledge about Syria using chemical weapons."

He went on further to state: "Obama stressed that he wouldn’t just talk tough but act tough when it comes to nuclear weapons".

Is it just me or is he looking for a "little kid" to beat up on so he can look tough? He was doing good for a while by keeping a low profile and letting the Syria debacle begin to pass. I guess he couldn't stand it and had to try something else to appear revelent. Sombody needs to take away his red coloring crayons because once again he can't seem to stay in between the lines...

The community organizer is in way over his head.

America is declining in many ways because of the over educated fools who have been brainwashed by the intellectual community of young educators, in the late fifties until now, who taught my peers to become progressive socialist in their ways of thinking regarding governments role in our lives.

That is why we have children depending on the school board for breakfast which should be the responsibility of the parents.

The liberal Democrats have dragged us into a state of youngsters growing up in government ghetto housing such as all those living in our very own "tree properties" right here in Hinesville.

Yet we wonder at the mindset of all of those lost souls hanging out at the local minit markets scratching off their lottery cards and munching on unhealthy snacks purchased with food stamps.

They have seriously poisoned the gene pool in the past couple of generations.

When they get bored they shoot some innocent person as in Oklahoma recently or the old soldier who was beaten up in Washington state by two young probable bastards perhaps a little bored.

The Liberal mindset has brought us to this point in our history.

Now I hear that a shooting took place this morning at the Navy yard.

The Liberals drove God out of our schools and therefore allowed the Devil to come into the back door.

We are on the road to destruction because of our entrenched public officials who are blindly loyal to the Democratic or the Republican party.

HMJC: Nothing wrong with a legitimate criticism of our government. That is what makes America the Great Nation that it is.

On the other hand TOT'S comments read like a page out of the Turner Diaries. It is Hate Speak that motivates the lone wolf haters of government such as Timothy McVeigh to blow up Federal Buildings that ends up taking the cherished lives of 168 innocent government workers and children. TOT'S words are the words of the Aryan Brotherhood, Posse Comitatus, and other government hate groups.

He should be banned from this blog site for making such hate speak. TOT'S words motivates unstable government 'haters' to sometimes take violent 'action' to correct the misperceived wrongs done unto them and "their" country.

JimmyMack commented on Monday, Sep 16, 2013 at 17:06 PM

I have taken the initiative to report Tot's hate speak above to the webmeister. If you agree with my post under his, please report Tot.

There is a place for legitimate criticism, but this blog site should not become a place that reads like a chapter out of the Turner Diaries.

I feel that Tot is becoming unhinged...and maybe dangerous.

Sheran commented on Monday, Sep 16, 2013 at 19:36 PM

I'm taking up for TOT... The only person TOT doesn't get along with is you.

HMJC Yesterday I read with interest this blog.

We made a huge mistake when we elected Obama the first time.

We compounded that error when we re-elected him to a second term.

We will simply endure"""""""""""""as we always have.

The liberal mindset has done great harm to this still young empire that we know as America.

Thank you for posting this blog.

Please excuse the sideshow which is being attempted by JimmyMack.

As Dr Carson said when liberals have nothing meaningful to say they simply attack.

Sheran thank you.

Ah yes, Tweedle dum and Tweedle dee. A match made in Hell's sewer system.

HMJC commented on Tuesday, Sep 17, 2013 at 13:00 PM

All, the intent of this blog is not to incite conflict. Its my opinion as TOT and JM also have opinions. We disagree with each other at times however; messages of hatred or accusations of such are counterproductive and hijack my blog. So, if you two want to fight it out, start a new blog and have at it. I do not want personal BS associated with my posts please. Thanks so much.

I apologize HMJC and will leave with one observation once made by a wise man: that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for a few good people to remain silent...

I look forward to Tot's apology.

timeontarget commented on Tuesday, Sep 17, 2013 at 16:29 PM

I've already expressed my apology for the sideshow created by JM.

JM you stalk TOT from blog to blog and post distracting snide comments about the person of the commentary offered by one called TOT.

Often unrelated to the particular blog you are visiting.

It diminishes the value of the community blog site.

If you want to debate lets do that.

I too am not interested in your BS.

This is indeed a good blog. You JM as usual intentionally took it towards the gutter.

I'm sorry that you do that and I'm sorry that the Courier continues to allow this idiotic conflict to continue to be allowed to be drug into blogs posted by others.

HMJC I'm sorry but you posted a very worthwhile blog and I simply wanted to give me thoughts on the subject.

JM if you want to argue start a blog and I will comment at least once but I will not continue to argue with you.

Sgt. Waters said "Never argue with a fool because the bystander can't tell who is who".

JimmyMack commented on Tuesday, Sep 17, 2013 at 17:35 PM

The apology was to HMJC and not a play on words that you have attempted to make it.

Funny you should mention 'stalking' Tot. That's precisely the same thing Murrellet did. She claimed to have turned me in to the FBI for the same thing you are now accusing me of!! Great minds must think alike. She's gone. I am here.

You should know this Tot. I am a long time member of Morris Dees Southern Poverty Law Center. They track Hate groups. Their most recent issue dealt with those GI Fools on Fort Stewart who referred to their group as F.E.A.R.(Forever Enduring, Always Ready.) FEAR was against what they saw as an overly intrusive government. A view held much like yourself, TOT. The FEAR leader convinced two of his followers to kill two innocent young people.

You can sleep well tonight TOT, knowing that the Southern Poverty Law Center knows who Tot is and is aware of his contempt towards government.

Don't forget to sing your Horst Wessell song before going to bed.

Jimmy Darsey, bed wetter, for being ostracized by Tot and his friends. I will be crying myself to sleep tonite and forever. I'll try not to drown out your singing.

JimmyMack commented on Tuesday, Sep 17, 2013 at 18:06 PM

One Last Health Tip, Tot.

It is NOT stalking because you rise earlier than I and\or make your post prior to mine. That's not stalking Tot. That is paranoia. Same ailment as Murr.

The SPLC is itself a HATE group. For me, their opinion is worthless.

JimmyMack commented on Tuesday, Sep 17, 2013 at 19:28 PM

I am astonished to hear that Sebe. The SPLC is responsible for bankrupting various KKK covens, Nazi movements, lone wolf attacks, attacks against minority religions and races, white Aryan movements, anti-govt militia groups...etc.

Thankfully the Judicial System sees the SPLC in a different light than you do.

I could not be more disappointed than I am now.

Please do not attempt to bore me with your skewed stats. We all make choices in Life Sebe. I am sorry you made this one and wrote about it here.

I think you can now become an "honorary local" as you once requested. Tot has a morning coffee group. YOur seat is waiting.

timeontarget commented on Wednesday, Sep 18, 2013 at 06:41 AM

I know that we all have differing opinions on various subjects.

I joined this site a while back and was hopeful that I could offer my thoughts on matters of concern to me and my family and friends.

I've crossed swords with some of you and will likely do so again in the future.

I appreciate The Coastal Courier providing this blog site.

It is interesting for the most part to have my morning coffee and review the comments of all who participate from the left as well as the right.

It is not a pleasure to see trivial tripe directed at timeontarget or at anyone else.

It is one thing to offer opinion and thought but another altogether to read childish digs which reek of hatefulness.

This is after all a community blog site provided by the Courier which is also the official county organ.

As the county organ I feel that a certain standard of dignity should be maintained.

I hope I have never damaged the reputation of this blog site.

I wish we all felt that way.

HMJC commented on Wednesday, Sep 18, 2013 at 10:24 AM

JM, I have always enjoyed most of your comments and rhetoric however, it does seem in this case it is personal. I am not defending anyone but just because some has a different view or opinion does not make them the Anti-Christ. Stick to the facts brother as I truly do value your views on my subjects as in some cases they are contridictory to mine. It provides me perspective and another way to examine the issue at hand. Best of Luck

sebekm commented on Wednesday, Sep 18, 2013 at 12:48 PM

Jimmy: This is not the first time I've said that the SPLC is a hate group. During my numerous dust-ups with you know who I went into excruciating detail on WHY that was the case. I won't "bore you" with the specifics of those arguments; apparently you weren't paying attention the first time around. I'll just summarize that:

*There is more hate promoted by the SPLC than most of the groups they designate as "hate groups."

*They claim to promote tolerance, and in fact are among the least tolerant of any organization I have examined.

*A review of their senior leadership reveals one of the most intolerant groups you can find - starting with Julian Bond and Morris Dees - who make their living off of the "hate industry." It serves their ends to promote hate. Without it, they would be out of a job.

*In an article earlier this year, NPR made an attempt to define what kind of an organization the SPLC actually is. He's the operative part:

"The SPLC is not just far from an un-biased source because it’s an anti-hate activist group, but because it’s a leftist anti-hate activist group. They definitely don’t regularly say this (while they acknowledge themselves to be activists), but they eventually admitted as such to NR’s Charlie Cooke back in 2011. Not only does the SPLC have a liberal stance, they actually just do not consider or research leftist domestic-terror or hate groups (except those that are otherwise racist, such as black nationalists, it appears). When Charlie asked them about whether, in light of a serious bomb plot uncovered at Occupy Cleveland, they were going to cover the Occupy movement, an SPLC rep told him, “We’re not really set up to cover the extreme Left.”

The fact that they are “anti-hate activists” and not objective researchers only suggests subtle and implicit bias and sloppiness, like what Berger documents, but further, the SPLC’s bias is explicit: They purposefully do not cover or condemn the hateful or violent groups on their end of the ideological spectrum. It is scandalous, therefore, for the media to report the SPLC’s findings without fairly explaining what they do, no matter if they are the only source of data on this topic or not."

IMHO - this description gives the SPLC a break - and the benefit of the doubt. I see them as just as much of a "hate group" as the "hate groups" they condemn. Morris Dees has been described by many as a "scam artist." I've seen nothing in his activities which refutes this notion. He is in the business of peddling hate - in his case, it's hate of the political RIGHT, regardless of who they are or what good they might do. And he makes a living off of it.

sebekm commented on Wednesday, Sep 18, 2013 at 13:02 PM

"JM, I have always enjoyed most of your comments and rhetoric however, it does seem in this case it is personal."

It is personal because Jimmy has chosen to make it personal. From my perspective - he has taken TOT's opinions about the liberal left and chosen to view them as a personal attack on himself, thereby justifying a full-blown retaliatory response against TOT personally. This has gone on for months, and almost all of us here have tried to stay out of it, figuring that the situation would eventually burn itself out and the parties would agree to disagree. Obviously, that hasn't happened, but I truly wish that it would.

sebekm commented on Wednesday, Sep 18, 2013 at 13:05 PM

(...that should be NR - not NPR - in the fifth para of my 12:48 p.m. post above....)

timeontarget commented on Thursday, Sep 19, 2013 at 15:39 PM

HMJC, I'm sorry for the ugly distraction.

I too don't always agree with you but I always enjoy your blogs and your comments.

I think we are all wise to avoid personal attacks on individuals who offer input to this forum.

Personal attacks being allowed degrades this "community site" in my opinion.

I wish it was not allowed in the terms of this site.

The practice diminishes the status of the Blog Site, of The Coastal Courier on line.

wayne44 commented on Thursday, Sep 19, 2013 at 18:16 PM

I'm just curious why is it if you don't agree with someone else's viewpoint wouldn't it be better to refute their comments with facts? We are all entitled to our opinion. We haven't lost the right to say what we think even if its contradictory.

sebekm commented on Thursday, Sep 19, 2013 at 19:37 PM

I've always thought that name-calling tells you more about the caller than it does about the target. Unfortunately, it is a common tactic to bash a person or their political persuasion when one can't argue any facts. We should always bear this in mind when trying to decide whether a particular point of view makes sense.

timeontarget commented on Friday, Sep 20, 2013 at 05:43 AM

Dr. Carson said it best "When they have nothing meaningful to say they attack"

The outlandish verbal assaults launched by some of us on this site at times provokes many would be contributors and visitors to this site to the extent that the decline to participate.

We then loose the benefit of their perspective and viewpoint.

JimmyMack commented on Friday, Sep 20, 2013 at 08:00 AM

Anytime one initiates the Blame Game as it pertains to politics, religion, and/or sex...they light a fuse. Some here have made outlandish claims towards groups of people. Is that less a faux pas than making outlandish claims against the individual blaming the Group?

You CANNOT have it both ways.
