Back in the 70's, the Washington Post was the only news affiliate covering Watergate and everyone else was saying what are they doing. Thanks to Fox News the Benghazi incident didn’t die and is now being covered like it should have been last fall. The elite media continues to keep the Low Information Voter unaware of the facts and spins the real story to make it appear to be a political witch hunt against President Obama and Hillary Clinton. It is a fact that the State Department changed the talking points about the attacks 12 times, with some very important facts left out of the final draft. The edits included requests from the State Department that references to the Al Qaeda-affiliated group Ansar al-Sharia be deleted as well references to CIA warnings about terrorist threats in Benghazi in the months preceding the attacks.

Four Americans dead, to include a US Ambassador. Why did the State Department change the Intelligence talking points and who ordered the military to stand down; the answer is (A) Incompetence or (B) Cover up for election.

EXCELENT, Sir I tip my hat to you.

Thank You Very Much

Thanks TOT!

Uh oh, I can’t believe it MSNBC Heehaw is compelled to report the truth now that it is exposed. They even mention Watergate Impeachable and Looks “ Clintonian.” I don’t know or even care about Impeachment that would be a mistake; however HRC will be slammed to submission in the Primary’s by fellow Democrats with power ambitions and she wouldn’t survive the onslaught.

Hillary Rodham Clinton caught in a lie.

I had already exposed President Obama as a liar back in November and I also said this:

This for all who don’t take the all and above approach to anything they may aspire to do in life. You have to research all sources enemy and foe; as a military retiree this is imbedded in us, however all you lifetime civilians out there are susceptible to viruses because of your lack of full research and relying solely upon news organizations, news papers, citizens, whomever or whatever source you espouse in. That is the core reason you will be wrong most of the time, the news I’m presenting now is astounding.
Anyone that has been following Benghazi knows that the administration followed the attacks in real time with drones and already know it was an act of terrorism, so after 45 days why is President Obama still punting the ball. And why didn’t America know this sooner.
Watch Obama nickel and dime this specific question when he already know the answer, he is not a leader he is a community organizer and did anything in his GREAT POWER to save re-election. How disingenuous and pitiful for our leader.

A very valid point, and you are correct, I too believe if it had not been for Fox News and a few on social media continuing the push, the Benghazi incident would have been left in the sand. Whatever the truth is...which at this point appears to be that there was a cover-up to some degree or at least some lies fabricated....it needs to be told to the public. Like you said American lives were lost.

sebekm commented on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:45 AM

From the beginning, the whole thing smacked to me of a cover-up. It was roughly two months before the election, and one of Obama's primary positives was the "decimation" of al Qaeda. It was very clear that the administration feared the linkage of the Benghazi attacks to al Qaeda - consequently they sent a duped Susan Rice on the talk show circuit to sell the "spontaneous demonstration incited by the inflammatory video" story. They knew that if they admitted an intelligence/response failure which allowed al Qaeda to murder a U.S. ambassador and the public could see the actual weak, disjointed NON-response of the State Department (from the top down), perhaps that 2% who gave Obama the election might have voted the other way.

The rest of the world - to include the Libyan government - KNEW it was a premeditated, orchestrated hit BY AL QAEDA. But what did the administration do? Back in 1973, they called it:

DENY, DENY, DENY. STONEWALL. CHANGE THE SUBJECT.

My hunch is that Hillary Clinton is going to wish she never said: "WHO CARES?"

JimmyMack commented on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 12:33 PM

Well...if it can stay alive long enough it is going to hurt her. I do remember her ponying up and taking responsibility for it, if I am remembering correctly. I think she was down in South America someplace and took the hit. It's a bad thing those people dying with no backup. I think tho she took this one for the team at the time and maybe underplaying the possible repurcussions today for having done such.

Time will tell. It is about to use up its 15 minutes and maybe going into syndication. If it goes into syndication her 2016 odds for the Oval Office definitely will go down.

sebekm commented on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 12:15 PM

It's picking up steam now. It's odd how sometimes an unrelated story will seem to add fuel to the fire. This time it's the IRS targeting Tea Party and conservative groups for audits. It has hit at just the right time to make the GOP look like "victims" on several fronts. This can only serve to fire up the base and create sympathy with the independents. Everybody remembers Nixon using the CIA to provide "intelligence" in preparation for the 1972 election. When that became public it energized the Democrats like nothing I've ever seen. Now we have the tandem of IRS "persecution" of Republicans and political "wordsmithing" to minimize damage to the Democrat incumbent just weeks before the election. Add just a dash of arrogance and a pinch of nastiness, and you have the makings of a fine partisan stew.

It's Politics Electric dontcha know.

The train is picking up steam.....

JimmyMack commented on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 13:22 PM

Yep it just may have the staying power. Unless a wag the dog thing happens(Israel gets into a hot war or Turkey strikes Syria...etc) she might get nailed and the Demo's given the boot in 16.

HMJC commented on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 16:41 PM

Well the obamanator has dismissed the "Benghazi Talking Points" as a "Sideshow with no Merit". I am pretty sure there are four Families that beg to differ...One troubling point of this whole fiasco was the much maliagned comment "What does it Matter Now?" Not just because of the obvious reasons; more so of the blatent projection of "it's over, lets just move on.." which is exactly what the administration wanted to do then and is trying to do now. This will be part of the undoing of Hillary's chances which is fine with me. What sticks in my craw is the current administrations continued impunity that continues to summarily dismiss any of its missteps as minor and of no consequence. We still have over three years to endure an administrastion that is more focused on programs that are for the few as oppossed for the country as a whole. and you know what? They don't care, got nothing to lose. Hang on my fellow bloggers, we are far from done with this clown car convention.

sebekm commented on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 17:50 PM

"This time it's the IRS targeting Tea Party and conservative groups for audits."

My bad. They weren't targeted for "audits" - it was supposedly for "more intensive scrutiny."

Based on past events, I think I'll take the audits....

HMJC: Yes - their dismissals sound EXACTLY like the non-denial denials that came out of the Nixon administration on the heels of Watergate. Back then, it was: "who cares?" and "so what?" and "the charges are politically motivated by the opposition" and later on it was "it's ancient history" and "old news." They really are taking a cue from Haldemann, Erlichmann, Mitchell and G. Gordon. I wonder who the new Alexander Butterfield will be? They say there are more "whistleblowers" to come - this time they're out of the CIA.

Tom Brokaw said it best over the weekend:

"Welcome to the second term, Mr. President."

See: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-she...

JimmyMack commented on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 17:52 PM

Yes HMJC. It all may very well come down to a "funny car" type finish. To my mind, who will be taken to the gallows on this? Will it be Hillary or some other individual that 'failed' at doing his or her job? IF ALL of this STICKS to Hillary all the way to 2016 then it will be...difficult...for her to win but not IMHO impossible. The Republicans will do well not to underestimate her.

Personally, I think this whole Benghazi episode will have been played out and the curtains drawn before 2016. End of show. Over.

And yes, Madam President, will become the norm.

This is another "NIXON" in the making. By the way, if any of you get the chance to watch the movie J. Edgar, please do!

DeCaprio is becoming one my favorite actors, BTW.
