All, let me preferace I don't expect all to be of the same conclusion. With that said, please feel free to fill any major blanks.

So, four more years... After reading through the 2nd term leaderships priorities, he has identified as top priority:

1. Gay Rights

2. Immigration Reform

3. Gun Control

4. Voter ID's

5. Can't really say he focused that much on the economy with the exception of blaming the Republicans for current future issues. Guess he wanted to get the blame game started early...

6. The Environment

I do not disagree that all of these points have merit. Just not convinced that they are top prioirities. If you read through the NBC excerpt it clearly states that Obama mentioned all of the special interest groups responsible for his re-election. I guess it was more important the downward spiral our country is in. As for me, I am not dissipointed as I had zero hopes that the next four years will be any better than the last four. I venture to say that everyone on the obama band wagon is in for an unpleasant suprise when his "change you can count on" starts to affect you pocket book and to some extent your way of life. I will not say I told you so, I won't rub in; all I will do is tell tell you to enjoy the ride because it is going to get a little rough.

I beleive the economy takes priority. As a woman, it doesn't matter if I have equal rights, ownership of guns, the immigration issue, etc., if I can't keep a roof over my family's head.

It IS going to get better, HMJC IMHO. Yes there are going to be fights but the nation, as a whole, in my opinion is taking the right course.

I guess all of us still above ground in four years will find out. Up2 is spot on: all of the special interests and cultural priorities won't mean squat if we're 24 trillion in debt; unemployment is above 8%; GDP is crawling along at under 2%; and a few million more citizens have given up on finding a job. IMHO - the best thing the President has done for the economy is to accept Geithner's resignation. Hillary seems to be getting out at a good time, too, as the Benghazi stuff appears to be ready to hit the fan. I do like the crew Mr. Obama is putting together for the second term. Hopefully they'll give him good advice (which hopefully he'll take).

State of the Union

I wonder how a "State of the Union Address" would open right about now? I am sure we all have our "one liners" but to be truthful at the risk of being contrite, I am concerned. The recent administartion was not strong to begin with. It was focusing on special ...

Are We Really On Track?
May 07, 2013
I had asked JM in one of Sebe's Blogs what great and wonderful acccomplishments has our current admistration have to pat themselves on the back about. JM responed, not suprisingly: "What legitimate success has the current administration accomplished that has been positive for ALL Americans?" Well, HMJC, I will have ...

North Korea D-Day?
April 09, 2013
It has been implied that North Korea will launch some type of missle "test" tomorrow. If this does occur I really can't call what the next step is going to be. If it is launched towards South Korea or Japan the answer is obvious. However, if the spoiled man child ...
