More good holiday cheer from our elected politicians in Washington:

Apparently our federal government has done such a great job in representing our interests and managing our tax dollars that President Obama has seen fit to order that "some federal workers" receive a pay increase in 2013. According to an article just posted in The Weekly Standard online, those due to receive a raise include Vice President Biden and members of Congress.

For the Executive Order and the list of those who "merited" a pay raise, see:

For The Weekly Standard article, see:

So in a country where a catch-phrase used to be "We make money the old fashioned way - we EARN it," this news will certainly stimulate the post-election discussion. It should also remind us of the immortal words of Yakov Smirnoff:

"What a country!"

Go figure.

If I am correct most incumbents won their elections.
Once again BHO and his executive order powers are at work and another slap in our faces.
