"New Projection of Election Results: Romney 52, Obama 47:
"The bipartisan Battleground Poll, in its “vote election model,” is projecting that Mitt Romney will defeat President Obama 52 percent to 47 percent. The poll also found that Romney has an even greater advantage among middle class voters, 52 percent to 45 percent.
While Obama can close the gap with a strong voter turnout effort, “reports from the field would indicate that not to be the case, and Mitt Romney may well be heading to a decisive victory,” says pollster Ed Goeas.:

This is consistent with the non-partisan University of Colorado Electoral Model, which also predicts a "decisive" Romney win. The UCO model has correctly predicted every presidential winner since its creation in 1980 - to include the Bizarro win by Dubya in 2000 when he lost the popular vote but won in the electoral college.
I could not have imagined this six months ago.
They are probably both obtuse - and I use the term here as meaning a general insensitivity or "thick skin" to the extreme. A useful trait for a politician. The latest Pew Poll has their favorability ratings about even among registered voters, so just about the same number of people across the country "dislike" them:

...and to get reelected Obama will have to "make history" again with a current job approval rating of 44%:

10 more days and we'll be through with predictions and we'll be stuck with the "winner." If it's Obama, everybody better pray that nothing happens to him because his Number 2 is a joke. Ryan is a kid with no experience, but at least he can figure out what State he's in and knows the difference between millions, billions, and trillions.
ROTFLOL, SF3 Obama is a community organizer with 0 Executive experiences and never having to have to meet a payroll other than a political campaign before becoming POTUS. As he said in 2008 and you and many others believed. “If you don’t have fresh ideas, then you use stale tactics to scare the voters” “If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from “The US Senator and now 1 term President was right and you can’t backtrack now, it’s truly time to move Forward with America’s Comeback Team “Romney/Ryan by a huge landslide swing state victory” AMEN!!!
You make a big election about small things; it has worked before, it feeds into the cynicism of government when it’s not working.
As much as I hate to say it, Jimmy has called obama by a nose for a long time; I fear he is right. Too many people out there that want to stay on the government dime or enjoy the benifit of re-distribution of wealth. What a bunch of sheep, this is going to be baaaaaad...
Does anyone remember when Obama said if he could not turn the economy around in three years he would be a one term president?
HMJC: Never fear - and don't listen to the "mainstream media." They are working for the Dems. All the trends I see - and all the polling and predictors that are HONEST - continue to be favorable for Romney. In addition to the others I've linked to, here's another:
Murrelet,
This how I see it. According to the Blogs that I have read, and reading news articles, it suggest that Americans (Swing States) Don't Trust either of the two. They either will not vote or vote for President Obama. They think Mitt Romney is not honest. So I think that President Obama will win a 2nd term, and in 2016, Hilary Clinton will run for President and will win overwhelmingly. She will win a 2nd term as well. Mitt Romney might have a chance in 2024. In my opinion, the Republican Party will eventually fizzle out due to too many conservatives going too far to the right and this American is no way inshape or form of how it use to be. American is changing more and moving more and more to the left majority wise. Especially by Demographics. If you don't believe me, then just wait until next week when America has spoken. If President Obama loses, then I am wrong. But if President Obama wins, (I really believe he will) then I am correct.
Funk,
You could be right on everything you have commented on in this Blog, but President Obama is going to win this election. Even if it is by one vote. He is going to win a 2nd Term.
