Murrelet I think I know of what you suggest.
That is another issue for another time.
Right now I don't want to be in the same company as the Castro Brothers, Chavez or Putin.
We must in this election vote for the lessor of the two evils on the ballot.
So now are we suggesting that President Obama is Evil? Or Mitt Romney is Evil?
Well if you are stating that, who are the lessor of the two Evils?
"So now are we suggesting that President Obama is Evil? Or Mitt Romney is Evil?"
When you listen to the supporters on either side, it is quite easy to imagine either candidate with horns, a pointed tail and carrying a pitchfork. This is how you win elections nowadays - ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A RECORD TO RUN ON.
"Evil" is something that most people think they understand. The easiest way for the campaign toadies to sway "the hearts and minds of the voters" is to paint the opponent as "evil."
I vote on the issues and on a politician's record. Obama is no more or less "evil" to me than Romney is. But the President has a 4-year record AS PRESIDENT that I can clearly see. On the economy - IMHO - it STINKS.
That's why I voted for Romney. As I said many times on this here blog site, if the President had not squandered the strangle-hold on the government that he had from 2008-2010 and had focused on unemployment, jobs, the economy and the debt, he would win this election by a landslide. And I'm talking about a landslide in the area of 60% of the popular vote and more than 400 electoral votes.
The fact that he won't - in the words of Jimmy Buffett - is his own dam' fault.
Well I don't trust Mitt Romney as far as I can see him. Double Talks, Lies, being disingenuous, is why I wont vote for him. I rather keep what I already have in Office than to put another person who is proven to be worst by his very own statements.
Romney has a record of success in business, as Governor and as chairman of the olympics.
Obama has never worked in private enterprise, has directed this nation in a downward spiral for four years, has embraced open homosexuality, dramatically increased the burden of debt on future generations.
Obama does not deserve to be re-elected.
TOT: All you say above is true. You would think that would be enough to seal the deal, wouln't you? This is what happens when its all about race and partisanship.
