I guess I'm just too feeble minded to get it.

I simply have no idea what this blog is intended to convey.

up2sumptin commented on Monday, Oct 22, 2012 at 08:43 AM

Not nice :(

timeontarget commented on Monday, Oct 22, 2012 at 12:20 PM

sebekm I understand and I appreciate the explanation.

The term certainly applies to some on this site.

gacpl commented on Monday, Oct 22, 2012 at 14:12 PM

as far as Romney supporters, they aren't that many truly behind him. most don't really like him, but he's better then what we have there now. once again another election all we have to chose from, is to pick the lesser of two evils.

timeontarget commented on Monday, Oct 22, 2012 at 15:48 PM

I'm not certain but I believe that I recall a time when any registered party could hold a primary and put a candidate on the general election ballot so that we could vote for them in November.

Without any of this petition business.

I'm not sure bit I think the two major parties engaged in a grandeous partisan maneauver to look out the other folks.

I hope someone will help me to get to the bottom of this.

timeontarget commented on Monday, Oct 22, 2012 at 15:51 PM

Then we could vote for our candidate in the general election.

We were not put in a position of "voting for the lesser of two evils"

Who are these people?

SportsFan31313 commented on Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012 at 11:42 AM

But Quite Humorous Exploiting Uninformed Citizens. However; Stern could have come right there in Liberty County, and would have gotten even better enlightened details from some of the citizens in this County. :-)

gacpl commented on Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012 at 11:58 AM

if the people here in liberty county were better informed, there would be a better city counsel.

timeontarget commented on Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012 at 12:15 PM

gacpl, If the forth estate was a little more comprehinsive in their responsibility to the community then we would be better informed.

And if the media portion of the forth estate on the national level was a little more ethical we would have better government.

SportsFan31313 commented on Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012 at 12:15 PM

Hmmmm! Interesting!!!! Have you ever thought about running for a Council Seat?

gacpl commented on Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012 at 17:56 PM

may be so time, but if more people would vote based on what they know about a candidate rather then skin color we would have better leaders.

SportsFan31313 commented on Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012 at 18:00 PM

Hello? I agree with you gacpl........

timeontarget commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 05:50 AM

I fear that many black people will vote for Obama simply because he is not white.

It's a shame that the press destroyed Herman Cain because he was found to have been like so many other men of this age.

Apparently he went outside of his marriage for earthy pleasures.

Think JFK and Norma Jean.

Cain was the best choice but, oh well.

gacpl commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 08:56 AM

when it came to Cain i liked him for his domestic policy ideas, but for foreign policy he really didn't know anything. it really showed when he was asked anything about his position on different things going on in the world.

Iknowyou commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 11:05 AM

I could care less about the foreign policy because our domestic policies is my major concern.

SportsFan31313 commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 11:49 AM

timeontarget,
"I fear that many black people will vote for Obama simply because he is not white."

And many white people will vote for Romney simply because he is not black.

SportsFan31313 commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 11:51 AM

Cain may have been the best choice for some people. But was he the right choice?

Funkentelecky commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 15:47 PM

timeontarget,
"I fear that many black people will vote for Obama simply because he is not white."

And many white people will vote for Romney simply because he is not black.

However, more people will vote for Romney because he has a record of success in creating jobs and jump starting businesses.

And at least 94% of white people won’t vote for Romney like 94% of blacks will vote for Obama.

SportsFan31313 commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 17:11 PM

Time will tell.

SportsFan31313 commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 17:36 PM

Funk,

I don't remeber what site I saw the latest Gallup Poll this morning. it have been CNN. But I went back to answer your question as to where I saw it and found what you posted.

However; I definitely saw and remembered the Electoral College Results: It states President Obama with 237 to 191 over Mitt Romney. 270 needed to win. President Obama is well on his way to a victory.

Romney may very well be ahead on the popular vote. But as we all know from the past (Bush vs Gore) Gore won the polularity votes, and Bush won the electoral college making him President Of the United States.

Besides, The State Of Georgia votes Republican anyway so Romney will carry that State.

Funkentelecky commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 17:57 PM

SF3, my point is if 94% of white folk would vote for Romney he would win a lanslide because blacks are only 12% of Americas population.

Funkentelecky commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 18:00 PM

Blacks in America are the most misguided folk in America when it comes to politics. No other demographic vote at such a ridiculous rate as we do!

gacpl commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 19:54 PM

im going to quote Cain on the polls. Obama is ahead in the polls because they call in the day time, and all Romney supporters have jobs.

Sheran commented on Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012 at 20:21 PM

I have a job, trying to keep it! I voted Romney/Ryan. We need the budget balanced, or millions more will be out of work. More business owners will go under....
