The Liberty County Branch of the NAACP monthly meeting will be held on Monday 10/01/2012, at 7:30 pm at the Dorchester Academy, Midway, Georgia. We will be nominating new officers for offices for the years 2013 - 2014. To be nominated for an office, a member must be a member in good standing. Our Awards banquet and Gala will be open to the public, on Oct 6. 2012. Our Speaker will be: National NAACP Executive Vice President & Chief Programs Officer Steven Hawkins. Steve Hawkins began his career as an attorney with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Our theme: Educate, Inform, & Unite. We will feature a new award: The Amazing Woman Award.
