I would have to say they are retaliating for religions that focus on destroying gays physically spiritually and emotionally.

Which ofcourse I do not get. Some people are gay and god made everyone of us who we are so I could never understand those that claim to hate gays in God's name. It contradicts itself. God does not make mistakes. He makes everyone who they are to fill his purpose. How you can claim to represent God but hate some of his children is beyound my comprehension!

the bible is very clear about homosexuality.

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Lholmes dont you think if a man who is gay repents, and ask Jesus for forgiveness he will forgive him of his sins?

well, the Bible states that if they are truly repentent and has abandoned those ways, then they are forgiven. If one is to believe the Bible, this blows the "born this way" rhetoric away. Interesting discussion.
